Conservator
The Conservator, which is also called expansion source, is a cylinder-shaped tank that is installed in the highest part of the transformer. During the daily load changes, the transformer oil expands and contracts due to temperature changes, and during expansion, it enters the storage source and prevents pressure from being applied to the transformer tank. The dimensions and volume of the expansion source depend on the size of the transformer and its temperature changes during operation.
